Has anyone been able to fix the issue of PDF being highjacked by Edge? The issue with build removing users documents and being pulled. Our issue is we can use LTSB but when a new build comes through we do not want to have to rebuild these computers. I am pretty sure all versions try to force Edge as default browser and PDF viewer. Obviously you can change it but I am certain each version still changes it back with updates.

I have been using Dameware Remote Control for the past couple years. Remote Desktop connections are 4x faster than the Dameware software. Not sure why that is happening but that is what we have noticed. Regarding the mess, I can’t imagine why any responsible sysadmin wouldn’t have a GPO set to defer auto upgrades, so at least it happens on your timetable.
Supposedly only 1, users were affected by the deleted files bug, which is unfortunately but hardly cataclysmic in the big scheme of things. I use the CB for my deployments for users. My lab pcs are on LTSB. I have not had any issues with CB since I setup all defaults for my users as chrome and adobe reader. The only issue is with CB is that when they make a new update it will stop allowing printing or network drive access until you restart to install.
