This logic introduced scene corruption problems; therefore the plug-in’s triangulation has been reverted to always use the legacy FBX triangulation algorithm. This legacy algorithm doesn’t produce incorrect triangles, just different ones.

Is it possible that I need to install all previous versions of the Service Pak or would the latest version, SP6, cover all the previous ones? In any case, I’m still stuck and would appreciate any help from somebody who understands what and were the problem is.
