Ask a new question. I have this issue on the latest stable version of Edge This line appears intermittently, mostly when subtitles are displayed. I’ve checked with multiple titles and this happens on a lot of them. So far, I’ve only noticed this issue on Netflix. However, my white line is on the left edge of the video from the top to bottom of the screen. Thankfully it’s not the monitor as Netflix even adds it to old shows as well as current shows, whether in full screen or windowed mode.

It does not happen in Prime, Foxtel or Stan, and thankfully it doesn’t happen in the Netflix app either, so that’s better than nothing for now. Yes No. Sorry this didn’t help. Thanks for your feedback. Same here, and I found the white line will be gone when you switch Edge to dark theme. But I am looking for fixing it without changing the them.

I’ve noticed artifacts during my playback, but it was mostly what seemed to be intermittent black boxes in the bottom of the screen where the subtitles are, while watching videos with subtitles. I wasn’t sure if it was an issue with Edge so I tried the Netflix app and wasn’t having the same problem. I went back to Edge and tried turning off the hardware acceleration setting in the “System and performance” settings page. Ссылка try turning that setting off if you have it on and see if it has any effect?

Edit: I turned the hardware acceleration back on to check and I do have a white bar as well, but it’s on the left side of the window when in windowed mode, not present приведу ссылку screen.

I don’t think switching to dark mode makes the line disappear. I have tried it and it makes the line nearly the same color as the black borders, which makes it much less distracting.

The issue, however, should not be there in the first place and I hope that Microsoft is taking notes. When playing Netflix on Edge 98, I am not facing this problem in Dark mode.
