I had great success with Webroot on server infrastructure. The way it scans prevented a lot of the normal performance degradation you see in other AVs. Most “Free AV” products have a clause in the license that they are for personal use only and business requires a paid license. Bad news is I found out that my DNS is leaking.
Now I will try to reinforce my network using a firewall. My understanding is that free AVs are normally for home use. Like Windows Home and Windows Pro. For server OS, you’ll probably be looking more for free trials so that you can test it out and then buy.
